not too bad

during the summer months, most of the restaurants near this location are closed since this is a ski resort area. the hotel was o.k. but i had several small issues. first, upon entering the room is was very hot (expected for july) however the a.c. system in the room lacks the power to significantly cool the room down. the room does not have the typical in-wall heater/a.c. but rather a portable a.c. unit that is too small for the room. the towels were not white, but had a slight yellow tint too them which kind of give you bad vibes that they were dirty. the toilet lack "flush" power requiring two flushes to achieve 100% fresh water. the balcony was o.k., we had a decent view of the mountains. however, many nail needed to be hammered back down, so barefoot walking could be a bit painful. further there was a huge chuck missing out of one of the planks which could pose dangerous for small children. overall this was/is NOT a bad place despite some of the issues i had. i would stay here again if i return to the area, but i would NOT rule out other locations.

would stay here again

Nice location, big room, decent breakfast included, pool is long enough for laps but very narrow. Good for the money (but I might have payed less than the usual since it was towards the end of the season) My only small complaints are with the staff who were ok but not as friendly or helpful as I expected; the woman seemed sick though, so maybe it wasn't her best day. I asked her for directions for Pico and she told me how to get there but didn't tell me the mountain was closed for the season, so I wasted some ski time driving to Pico and back (my fault too). Most likely she just didn't know; but it's a ski town, I would expect people to know what mountains are open. Also we got there there at 12:30pm (before the official checkin time, true) and the room was not ready, (although the parking lot was empty, so it didn't look like they were super busy). Maybe it's just me - I was expecting above average services, based on the hotel reviews.

We had a fantastic stay at the Inn at Six Mountains for a spring break ski trip. Great atmosphere, nice room, convenient location, great price. The Inn @ Six is one of our top picks.

"I stayed with my husband and 5 year old daughter and we loved it. Room was much bigger than I thought it would be. The staff was very nice, they offered to make us hot cocoa when we would come in too cold. The nightly kids movies are a nice treat for the kids. Being so close to the killington resort was also nice. The Cedar's food not too great but there are a lot of restaurants within walking distance that servve excellent food. Overall, it was a wonderful experience"

We were very happy with this hotel. It's just down the street from Killington Ski Area. We stayed at this hotel, enjoyed its hot tub, watched a DVD that they provided on the DVD player in our hotel room, and enjoyed a nice complementary continental breakfast the morning before we skiied. There's shuttles to the slopes. Ski storage. The dinner menu isn't gourmet per se, but it was still nice because we didn't have to drive in the freezing night time. But there were so many other restaurants so close by, you can't go wrong. Their bar catered nicely, too.
