bad place to stay

1.first floor of hotel was filthy
2 room service was terrible
3 price was too high for hotel,$$ should be the rate and no higher.

I thought for a last minute trip, the hotel was nice. I found friendly people,clean rooms,it needs an update on furniture,but it's a place to stay,so me and my family could get to the Beach.I did see workers trying to keep things clean,w/ so many different people visiting Im sure its hard to do!
$ room, don't pay more.

Old,broken stuff,elevator="scary",poor customer service,machines out of stuff,front desk=
out-dated. Good stuff=close to ocean.

We were very disappointed , and didn't want to stay after seeing the room . But we were told we had to stay or lose our $*.The wall paper in the room was pealing off the walls. The slidding glass doors didn't open or close without being forced. The stove had stuff all over the eyes, smokeing and stinking up the room. The exhaust over the stove didn't work. The refridgerator had a hole on the indide of the door, the freezer door was completly gone . The bathroom drain in the sink was broke. The t.v. volume didn't work.The elevator made god awful sounds .So we used the stairs instead, but they were very nasty and you couldn't toutch anything. And they were dangerous because there was little or no lighting.very scary exspecially to a 13 & 11 year old..The staff was very snotty and hateful.. Always ware shoes, and the beds have somethine that crawls on you..The girls wouldn't even sleep in the bed , they just used it like a sofa, a place to sit or lay there things. Very very disappointing , It made for a bad vacation, and a very uncomfortable one as wall.Exspecially when your husband is disabled and needs to be comfortable. It had been 6 yr.s sence we were able to go on a vacation just to have it ruined by the motel you staied at

okay first off i loved virginia. it was great. But the hotel was not as good as I expected. First when we got there the computers were down, and they had to do everything manually. Then when we got our room, there was no microwave. I had to get the front desk to get me one. When we eventually got the microwave, the microwave's plate was filthy. The telephone was just horrible. when I decided to call front office they couldn't hear me, so we had to get another phone. The hotel smelled of cat pee. And then they got our check out day mixed up and our key was deactivated. my girlfriend had to go downstairs and get it reactivated. the front office was very nasty. But the cleaning service people were great, as well as the maintanence. Overall good vacation lots to do in the area. but I will not be returning to the super 8
