Not exactly roughing it

This is the motto on everything in Beaver Creek. And the Beaver Creek Lodge fits perfectly with that motto. From the very first moment you pull up outside the experience at the hotel and in fact the whole resort is relaxing, enjoyable and luxurious. Highly professional staff, great rooms, good ski shop, great breakfast, great bar. Not cheap but definately not roughing it.

From the moment we checked in - it was a perfect vacation experience. The room was EXCELLENT - beautiful. However, if you're looking for the "condo" experience, it's not that. It's a "suite" - just as advertised. The bed was so comfortable - we checked the label for future reference. They had two kinds of pillows - soft/squishy and firm - so both my fiancee and I were in heaven. No noise from rooms around us - and the view - WOW - what can I say... Beaver Creek Village speaks for itself - what a quaint, beautiful place. Now - you wonder - how close is this place to the slopes? IT's RIGHT THERE - litterally - you walk out of the 2nd floor, over a pedestrian bridge - up 3 short escalators (THANK YOU for not making us walk up steps) and you are at the lifts.

Great place for couples or families

This hotel is a very intimate place to stay. Staff new us and greeted us by name whenever they saw us. Our room was just as pictured on website. Very comfortable. Our only complaint was the sheets needed to be deep pocket because they wouldn't stay on the mattress. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the robes and slippers in our room were great for the trip back and forth. Parking onsite is pricey ($19/day), but public parking is nearly across the street so it wasn't an issue. My husband said Beaver Creek Village is just like what you would see on a postcard and when it snowed it was totally a winter wonderland, with heated sidewalks! We would definitely stay here again.

Great location for skiing, walk out your door, up the escalator and on to the mountain! Dining great & inexpensive compared to other BC locations. Most comfortable bed I have EVER slept in! Free in hotel storage of skis, boots warmed & ready in the morning.

Our visit was at the end of the summer season and resort is very quiet and exactly what we were looking for with few others on the mountain. Hotel is well placed for mountain access either summer / winter near facilities and lifts. Rooms are all suites & adequately equiped, generally staff very helpful. Exception being concierge who seemed to have little real idea about local activities and was poor in following up - local info centre on the other hand was very good for activity advice.
