Staff is wonderful. Location is great especially close to CSU and Old Town. Rooms were large and clean. Quaint and unusual hotel. Can be noisy, but pick your room accordingly. You can view and select your individual room. No two rooms are alike. Only problem I had, was that some of the modern rooms do not have a place to store folded clothes, so I had to keep most of my clothes in my suitcase. Would be nice to have a small chest of drawers. Elevator is it's own thing, funny. Just make sure you read about the hotel when booking, radiator heating and standing AC units for cooling. Restored historic hotel.

My husband is from Fort Collins and we go to visit family every year. We have stayed at various hotels in the area trying to find THE ONE and we found it last year at The Armstrong! Its perfect! Cozy with comfy beds and location location location! Right in the middle of down town. Also, there is this awesome breakfast/coffee shop next door on the corner also that has free internet and AWESOME food! It was a great find. We cannot wait to stay at the Armstrong again this June!
