Wonderful service!

This hotel was great! We had wonderful service from day one! The room was ont he smaller side, however being right on the shores of Waikiki, we spent more time enjoying our ocean view room that also overlooked Diamondhead, at the pool and on the beach. The comfort more than made up for the size and we are looking forward to visiting there again soon!

Great Location

We picked this hotel with a bit of hesitation due to some negative reviews we read. We were pleasantly surprised by how our overall stay turned out. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was great!!! The bus stop and beach are litteraly a few steps away from the lobby. Yes, the room is small but it has adequate room for storage and good air conditioning. The bathroom is in good condition considering the age of the building. I would like to congratulate the housekeeping staff for a VERY GOOD job of room upkeep. This was our fourth Waikiki vacation and I only wish that I discovered this hotel from the start.

Small Room, Amazing View

We got a room with an ocean and beach view and it was the best view I can imagine in Waikiki. Diamond Head was on the left and the beach was on the right. It also overlooked a green park. It was absolutely gorgeous. Yes, the room was small and the shower was kind of dirty, but the view and location were so much more important to us. Besides, with only 2 of us, the room size was fine. Next time I'm in Waikiki I will stay here the entire time.

arrived and recieved prompt attention... was sent to room 1716 very large comfortable king size bed... standard price city view.. balcony was adequate... enjoyed view of water and city lights and looked straight into the marriott where the rooms looked just as small and probably cost three times as much... had nice bath tub that was large and able to soak in very hot water which i enjoy. The tv was large and there was a frig to keep drinks cold. LuLu's brought up a good dinner and the Tiki is right there... the location is incredible and you don't need a car. Much greener part of Waikiki yet close to all transportation and sights and of course right across from the nicest swimming part of Waikiki Beach. Air conditioning was adequate and there was no city noise. Curtains kept out light and had privacy layers so you could sleep in the dark without any noise. Read the negative reviews but complaining about sand in the elevator when you are right across from the beach is unreasonable. Complaining about parking in Waikiki is not relevent to the quality accmocations at this hotel... Great value for dollar.,,

shameful

Rooms are not what they look like when you book it on-line, very small, no maintenance at all, but they have good house keppers, $* valet parking never told when check-in, lobby manager was extremely rude, treat guest as intruder. There was a door between my room and side room which I could hear neighbor couple privacy...shameful.....I'll never ever come back there.
