Great Value, Great location

This is a very nice place to stay. The motel is dated but everything was very clean. The service is great and the proximity to the beach can"t be beat. Considering the price and location it is a great deal. I would definitely come back and can highly recommend it.

The hotle is a GREAT buy. That said, the room I had needs some work. The carpet under the sink was wet due to a leak. The shower knob fell off, making it difficult to turn from cold to hot. The bath towels are cheap and rather small. A basic hotel with not alot of frills. The location is EXCELLENT. A very short walk to the beach. With everything, I will definitely stay there again.

We stayed here on a Friday adn Saturday night 10-3 to 10-5-2008 and the Inn was so close to the beach it made a wonderful touch. It is very close to excellent restaurants, the pool was clean, the vending machines were full, and the office staff was very nice. We thought the room was nice, good for the price! The hotel was quiet and clean. We would stay here again.

Decent place that is affordable

We needed a room for a wedding we attended in Laguna Beach. This was the most affordable I could find in the area. The front desk was adequate. Most hotels explain the continental breakfast and check out times or you're given a sheet explaining it. I did not know there was a continental breakfast until I was checking out and saw the sign. I was too focused on checking in that I did not read it. It would be nice if they had explained it. The rooms were larger than most hotel rooms, with two sinks, both with granite countertops - one inside the bathroom and one in the dressing area, which you don't find anywhere else. The rest of the room was clean but not fancy. The towels appeared dingy although they smelled clean. The mattress we had felt like it needed to be replaced soon. Not horrible, but not the most comfy either. Given the fact that most places are very pricey in this area, this was a good deal, considering all we did was sleep there.

This hotel is simple, not fancy. The pool is very small. Do not go there for the pool. It is the BEACH that is VERY close by. A small hotel with just two floors. The front desk was not overly friendly, but very helpful. As with "cheaper" hotels, the room was fine but not glamorous. The towels and bedding were average at best.
