Went for 2 days Mon/Tues. Pulled up, no one available to greet us/ask if we need assistance w/bags on to a trolley-bad. Asked if had a preference to which floor we wanted-good. TV in room was nice, no remote, had to ask, was told where to look in room, still not there, called again, then had to go get it from front desk! No channel that just played music, there was a clock/radio-but we could not get radio to work, there was no cd player-bummer. No robes. Ice machine on third flr only-very bad. The "continental breakfast" was plain bagels, english muffins, bread for toast, fruit (not ripe), cantelope was cut showing green from rind, yuck. There were yogurt cups. Dry cereal in "turn-dial" dispensers. Difficult to use. My daughter(25) couldn't get it to work, spilled some cereal on counter, person came over to "help". Seemed annoyed. 2% & reg milk, oj. No muffins. There was a toaster. Coffee was Starbucks in pump thermos'. Neat, clean efficient. Staff seemed inconvenienced when asked for assistance. For the extra few bucks not impressed. The gym (very small) consisted of 2 treadmills, one ellipitcal machine, and one bike. No weights. Had towels/water in the "gym". Will not return to this site. Upon checkout could not give me a reciept since I booked on travel website. Was down road from Mystic Seaport, around block from Aquarium.

Perfect for families with kids. Room was clean. Service was great. Location could not have been better - walking distance to the aquarium, restaurants, and shops. The property was in good shape and the adjoining diner was clean and looked new. Friendly staff everywhere. We would definitely stay there again!
Old, but Clean

This place was old, but clean. It appears they are adding on and planning renovations (according to a drawing in the lobby). They are located right by the highway, which made it convenient to find. Not a bad place to spend one night, but would not stay longer than that, since there are other places closeby that appeared to be a lot nicer.

Room smelled musty, towels were thin; worst of all, water dripping from the bathroom ceiling. No breakfast included. Microwave/fridge/pool pluses. Otherwise definitely average or below, but priced mid-range. Will never go back.
