The hotel was exactly what we expected for the money. We stayed a few days before our cruise. I guess the things I liked least was that we had to walk through the pool area to get to our room and that made things hard. And be very careful about the transportation they offer, very expensive...it would be cheaper to rent a car for a few days to get around.
Other then a few unhappy things on my list for this hotel overall it was a nice place and very clean.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I stayed here 1 night with my family and their vehicle was broke into. This happened in broad daylight. A couple other people had the same problem. The rooms were musty and a strong odor of mold lingered around the room. The rooms are cheap but you pay the price for cheap rooms by having your belongings stolen or damaged.

Great price but not worth the risk. The night we stayed here 6 cars including ours and 1 hotel room got broke into. The staff didn't care not 1 said they was sorry just like everyday thing for them. Cops said they are out there 15-20 times a month for this thing.Called manager and he said "I have to disagree sometimes months go by with no break ins"? We went on a cruise and paid to park the week there because they had security and a shuttle to and from the airport and cruise terminal. They did refund us the parking fee but said they are not responsible for our car or any of our property. They did not offer any reimbursements of any kind even after we told they what a rough night we all had with all the noise. The staff are friendly, mold in the showers and a damp or moldy smell in the room, noisey at night with guests coming and going, the AC kicking on and off (old type with the loud blowers).
Decent Place for the price

I stayed for 3 days while my home was being fumagated. I got a decent price using a online travel website beyond what I would have gotten from the Room Saver coupon book. The coupon book was $59 and did not allow reservations. That book wanted you to walk in the door with no reservation and take your chances on whether they had a room saver room available. Since I needed to be out for 3 days, I couldn't take that chance. The online travel website got me a discount for staying 3 nights at $* a night. I asked for a non-smoking room, but when I got to the hotel, they gave me a smoking room instead. I didn't notice this until I got all my stuff moved into the room. I brought a lot of stuff I would not normally have since my house was being fumagated. I went back to the desk and told them I had reserved a non-smoking room and they immediately gave me a non-smoking room without any hassle. They said that online sites indicate a non-smoking room on the customer's reservervation, but when they send the reservation to the hotel they indicate smoking instead. So be sure and ask if you got the right kind of room before you move in. After I moved to the other room, the only complaint I would have is the TV was very old and very blurry. If TV is important, you may be disappointed. The smoiking room looked like it had a newer TV, but I didn't try it. The rooms were very clean and I had no other problems. They do charge $2 per day for the in-room safe which is apparently already included in the travelocity price. I went to check out and no additional charges were added.

This hotel was very convenient to the cruise port and offered a free shuttle to the cruise port and pick-up after the cruise was over for a minimal fee. The staff was friendly and check-in was speedy. It was close to shopping and eateries. Rooms were nice even though previous reviews stated otherwise. I'd stay here again.
