We stayed here on our way to VA beach. Great location! We walked to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory and then to breakfast at the Silver Dinner. Both were very good! We enjoyed a jazz band in the local town center.

I have tried this hotel twice but will not return. The employee that monitors the breakfast area is so very unprofessional and rude that I was left speechless. Several guests were witness to his disrespect and voiced their concerns and said they too would not stay again. There is an excellent hotel --The Westin---on the same block that I would recommend you stay at. This Garden Inn is not up to the usual Hilton standards. Beware!

Staff was friendly checking in but it was downhill after that. Rooms very nice but beds were like sleeping on a 2 inch foam mattress on the floor.
Tried to get breakfast next morning but no one to take order. After 15 minutes asked for assistance but was told to wait. Asked for money back and person was reluctant to accomadate.
This hotel was not up to the Hilton Standards with service or bedding.

The location of this hotel is great and surrounded by good restaurants. It is accross the street from the mall. The room smelled musty and the front desk night clerk was rude and arrogant.
The pool was dirty and had no towels available. We asked for additional towels to be sent to our room and they never showed after the clerk finished showing his irritation to the request.
I would not stay here again due to the staff being rude.

We loved the hotel it was great for or children they are not at the age for all the hussel and bussel that being right on the beach has. The area was quiet at night as well as in the hotel. Our room was very clean as was the whole hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful if you had any questions, we asked for there recomendation on a few resturants. There is alot to do within walking distance nice resturants and movie theaters as well as shopping. It is only about 10 minutes from the beach. The kids loved it and had fun. I would recommend this hotel to families and anyone for that matter and we would stay here again:) Also there is a parking garage directly across the street they have a few levels that you can park on for free which is really nice too:) Great Hotel!!!!!
