This place is a DUMP!! I cannot beilieve all of these other good ratings. Dirty, toilet did not flush, noisy, bad service. I could go on and on. NEVER AGAIN!!! Avoid this place at all costs. I will be writing a letter to America's Best to complain. It was that bad.

I found this place to be very comfortable and offer very nice amenities. I liked the continental breakfast and found the restaurants in front of the hotel to be quite good.

For brief stays where luxury is not an issue, this hotel is great. We stayed at hotels in Durham that cost almost twice as much that were not as nice. Not much to look at, but we were just visiting my son. Rooms were clean, beds were nice. Everything worked. This will be the only place we stay in Durham from now on.

You'll note that the rooms do not specify smoking/non smoking. You'll need to call the hotel to have them reserve a non-smoking room. Also, the description doesn't mention complimentary breakfast, but they have that, too! Nice, friendly staff. This is a good motel for families. Because it doesn't have interior halls, (you park right outside your room) I wouldn't recommend it for women traveling alone.

For the money - these rooms were excellent! Consumers need to remember that they only paid $40+/night - for that price, the hotel was perfect. I loved the microwave & frig in the room. Great TV. Older, but clean - a little musty smelling. Large room. Location close to major highway was good.
