The hotel was very nice. Our room was great. The staff was very friendly. Everything was was clean, including the pool and grounds. The only complaint was with the elevators. They were very slow, and one was out of order for a period of time, every day. Great place for a family to stay.

This place was great. Whole hotel has just been renovated and it shows. We had a hotel front room and the view was unreal. All employees were very nice to my wife and I. The room was a good size and clean. The floor was a little wet where water came under the balcony door and made the room have a slight smell. We left the door cracked a little while we when to the beach and it was gone when we came back. The beach was awesome. The ocean was a little rough but made for fun in the waves. Great beach for kids. The pool was great and very warm. It was nice because the ocean was a little cold. The pool area is dirty because there is sand from people going back and forth from the beach all day. The elevators were slow but, there are 2 elevators and it seemed most people were only using one. No one was using the stairs though. I stayed on the 4th floor and could get to the 1st first in under a minute. Great place for a vacation. We paid $** per night for ocean front room. It was a wonderful deal and had a wonderful vacation.

We stayed here during 2 days of constant rain- we upgraded to the ocean front room- the room flooded! When we told the employees about that problem they said they knew the rooms flooded. They said that that water always comes in when it rains- that being said- these rooms have mold and are unsafe. Also, the restaurant is closed and the elevators aren't just slow, they're scary. They shake like they are going to just break down any second. We ended up moving to a non ocean front room. Also, the new room had hair in the shower- not so clean! The hotel did not offer to change the price or any type of make good. We had to argue to get the price changed. My advice is "spend a little extra and stay somewhere else"
SATISFACTORY HOTEL, BUT WITH PROBLEMS

Hotel is located in a quieter section of Daytona Beach. First impression of the hotel was very good, until check-in. The employee working at the front desk was not as welcoming as one would hope and did not seem interested in making a good first impression. First problem occurred when our room keys would not work. We had to go back down stairs using the slow elevators to try to get it resolved. It was finally resolved after over an hour of waiting on maintenance. Needless to say, by the time we were able to finally get into our room without waiting on service, the sun had already set and we missed the last of the beach day which was disappointing. Room had a microwave and mini fridge which was nice. Room and balcony were both very clean. We had an ocean front view which looks right out onto the ocean. Beware of the "oceanview" rooms. Most of the "oceanview" are located on the side of the building with a parking lot view staring at a huge condo building. Ocean front is the only way to go if you are looking to enjoy the balcony and ocean. Has a restaurant on site, but NEVER saw any guests in there so doubted their food. Tiki bar was only open for a few hours one day out of three and was kind of a joke. Both hot tubs/jacuzzis outside were not even warm, lights did not work, jets non-existent, and did not seem sanitary. Plenty of lounging chairs (piled on top of one another) and pool was a good size. Beware of per day parking fees and in-room safe fee even if not used. Will remove safe fee if complain at check out. Decent overall.
Great Deal!!!

My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful room, great service, and blessedly quiet. A 100% improvement over the Hilton at a much better price!
