Great stay, 1 block from beach, near all great shops and resturants, they held our luggage since we had a late flight. Everyone was nice, helpful and friendly. Everyday our room was VERY clean and comfortable!!! I LOVED the Hilton Waikiki Prince Kuhio!

Using the Roberts Hotel Shuttle from the airport to the Hilton Prince Kuhio ($15 round trip) was a perfect start to my short stay. The hotel was beyond my expectations in amenities. The lobby was beautiful, the staff friendly and MOST helpful...(the concierge helped me with a troublesome phone call, and refused a gratuity!) My room overlooked the golf course and mountains to the west, with a balcony. Other rooms overlook the ocean were available for additional cost. The bed was pillow-soft luxury, the bathroom full of surprises. No bathtub, but I made due with a great shower. With complimentary appetizers in the eventing, and breakfast in the morning, the price of the room proved a real bargain. The location, 2 blocks from the beach, meant it was quiet, but close to shops and restaurants. I will definitely stay there again if given the opportunity, and will refer it to friends. I used the public bus to get out to Pearl Harbor ($2 round-trip); a long drive, but a taxi would have cost $40 one way, so the time spent on the bus was worth it. Only negative experience: on arrival, 2 bellmen were aware of me trudging up their steep ramp with a heavy rolling bag, and only after I got to the top of the ramp did they offer to help (I declined, at that point)

Interesting

The hotel has a nice decor since it is recently renovated. My wife and I don't really like the towels provided and the shampoo smelled horrible. It is good thing that we did bring our own. The service staff is good we moved the bed around to accomidate for small child and they figure out what we wanted and made it very nice. The big screen tv is nice but the connection is not too good and the tv needs to be wiggled a little to make the reception right which seems very strange. We encountered the big black out and the hotel staff was calm and orderly and the elevator and the hall was working through out. The hot water was out but that was understandable. Nice location. not far from anything so I did enjoy the stay
