Clean, friendly staff, great location.
Parking limited; breakfast area very compact; probably typical resort-area hotel.

Not 4 star but definitely worth the price. The room was modest, but clean and appointed with microwave, fridge, iron, and free internet access. The bed was comfortable and complimentary wine and cheese in the afternoon and morning continental breakfasts added to the value. The atrium and plants created a nice ambience. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The location is perfect.
The only negative is that the walls are very thin. Once I thought someone was walking in our room and we heard every adjacent shower, but in spite of this we had a very restful night.
We would stay again, probably next April.

Stayed there ten plus years ago and it hasn't changed much. Old and walls are paper thin. Only three shower towels so if you both take a shower at night only one gets one in the morning. LOL LOL Much better hotels to stay at and the price is comparable. Don't count on too much at the free breakfast. Have cheese and wine in the evening. Both are low grade. Not much to brag about on this hotel.

This small Best Western is one block away from the Embarcadero Section of Morro Bay. Although just walking distance away, there isn't a lot to do at this part of the bay. Morro Bay was a nice stopping point but I wouldn't make it your destination. The room did have a view of the bay but it was a good block away. The balcony was so small it was non-existent. The room was small and cramped, but did have a nice sturdy bed. My recomendation for dinner would be the Great Fishing Company restaurant. Adequate room, small space, close location to the Bay.

the hotel is a bit noisey. You can hear the people in the room above you. Every time they walked across their floor. Otherwise we were real happy with our stay. The people who run it was very nice and helpful.
