It gave off a brilliant first impression, but there were some maintenance problems on a second view. There was a spacious entrance and reasonable rooms, half with a sea view and half with a city one. There was a choice of three restaurants. We liked both the Chinese one and cafe. But looking more deeply, some components really start to look rundown. The pool (nicely located in garden) had lots of damaged paint, the bathrooms were looking more '70s than what is needed for a five-star, etc. This was a pity, but it's still nice if one can get a bargain price.
