I would absolutely stay here everytime I go to the San Diego area. I wish we could have stayed longer.

stay was very good. staff was very friendly and very helpful. rooms were clean and roomy. pool was a little cool but spa was just right temperature. breakfast is good. different hot foods each day. managers reception on monday through wednesday is good with appetizers and drinks, cookout by the pool on thursday was good. had to drive to beach but not far. would stay there again
Loved the Suite - not your typical 1-room hotel

We enjoyed our stay at the Hampton and loved the idea that it was a suite (separate bedroom from living spaces). The rooms were impeccable and clean, staff very friendly and helpful, and if we could have stayed longer, we would have. They offered a continental breakfast with lots of choices and even offered a BBQ dinner (hot dogs and hamburgers) in the evening. The beds were cushy and comfortable but just a little too cushy for my tastes - sheets didn't feel as soft as I like either. The only other negative I could say was the traffic noise woke me in the morning as the hotel is across the street from I-5. Apparently they tried to address this by adding a second window to the rooms, but our room actually had the outer window open (can't be closed from the inside) so it was probably a little noisier than other rooms.

Both the bedroom and living room in the suites are very nice and big- great for a family. The beds are very comfortable and the free breakfast was good. You're also within walking distance to everything the town has to offer.

Location is excellent, King size bed was very comfortable and extra room was nice. Breakfast was nice so was staff.
