Quite location. No highway between you and the water. Room on 3rd floor overlooked harbor and ocean beyond. Lots of frendly bars and restaurants within easy walking distance some with great ocean views. Walk to Catalina Island ferry and public beach. Best place for the value in Dana Point.

A friendly, comfortable hotel located right on the harbor. Always clean and cozy. We have stayed there several times and will stay there again. The rate is good, the staff is excellent and the location is the best in Dana Point! Good exercise room, a compyter with printer in the lobby and a typical breakfast. (Breakfast is only served til 9am ) Good views of the pool and harbor. Walk to restaurants and shopping. Our favorite place to stay we visit the kids.

this place was old, and overpriced. our room looked like someone was patching holes, and then never went back to finish. a family members other room was the same. most of the staff was nice except for one extremely rude and hostile girl. seems like she had it in for us as soon as we walked in!

Start the bulldozers! This is a great location but the facility has far outlived is life expectancy. Woeful need of upgrades to the point that the deteriation of wood and fixtures is not salvagable. Cheap, yes, but the owners know they have a cash cow and why spend anything to improve. It is strictly maintainence by crisis. Wouldn't stay there again.

We stayed at this hotel twice, with 3 intervening days. The first room on the east wing was good, but the east wing was terrible.
