Two adults and two children in a room with two double beds worked fine. We also requested a cot, which was very nice. Lots of pillows and very comfortable. Staff was friendly. Continental breakfast in the am was good - offered a good variety.
Not much on the strip it is located on but a few miles down there is downtown Pasadena and endless shopping, eating, movies.....
Car Rental is just about 4 blocks away....they will pick you up if need be.

I booked ahead of time, but they had nothing in their computer when we arrived. I even had a printout showing my name, their hotel with address, and a reference number. The clerk agreed it was very odd. But they had plenty of rooms, and they gave us one with a king size bed, easy chair, fridge/freezer, microwave, and more. We had a little trouble using the wifi, but I had a ethernet cable and travel router so my wife and I could both be online on our 2 laptops at the same time. Small unheated pool, but it was clean and fine for kids. GREAT bed. Courteous cleaning staff. Really good free breakfast every day until 10 or 10:30, including waffles, eggs, breads, cereals, fruit, yogurt, etc. This is a solid 3.5 star hotel that we paid $70/night for before taxes.
