VALUE LODGING

This hotel is a great value for those looking for no frills, cheap lodging. No pool, lousy "breakfast", no gym. But, the rooms were very clean and neat although pretty uutiitarian. Neighborhood is just off freeway and not one for taking a strolll in, but the hotel property seems safe, relatively quiet adn the front desk was friendly. Lots of "working class" people stay here because of it's cheap price. Other reviews talked about people hanging out front and some were but they were people staying there who just wanted to get out of their room and talk on the phone, have a smoke or talk. It was safe.

We booked here for a last-minute trip to Berkeley. This is a very respectable little motel, clean and quiet, in a good neighborhood. Target, Circuit City, and several fast food places are within a three minute walk. We were out well past dark and felt very safe. It?s very easy to find, but just far enough from the freeway that you don?t hear traffic. The desk clerk didn?t know how to check in customers from an online travel website, but she gave us a room anyway and kept me updated until it was resolved.Overall a great value.

"It seems that this property has gone extensive renovations compared to the pictures shown. The rooms and lobby are beautifully decorated, and the staff was pretty friendly and helpful. An excellent value for your money !!"

I'm sorry dee had a bad experience ! I stayed here around 2 weeks. There were folks hanging around, but everybody was friendly to me. I would stay there again in a heatbeat ! ! ! The facility is near the freeway and shopping, on a sidestreet, so it is very quiet.
My Worst Travel Experience

This is not a good place to stay for anyone. It's dark, people hang out front, there are old broken down cars in the parking area. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. Definitely not a place that you would want to bring your children.
