Just a motel with a fancy lobby

The pictures look charming, but trust me creative photography can make anything look nice. Despite the decor, the property is run-down and showing it's age. The restaurant was not open during my stay, but judging by the menu in my room, that may have been a good thing. The breakfast buffet was okay, but NOT free. Don't be fooled into thinking you are buying into a unique inn experience.

Just So-So

We stayed here for business in November. The room was comfy, but nothing exceptional. I thought it was overpriced for what we got and there were no elevators, no bellhops and we had to haul our luggage up a flight of steps outside to get it into our room. Very incovenient and painful when one has arthritis.

"Quiet, affordable, comfortable"

My room was clean, comfortable, and affordable. The staff was amazing- they gave me menus to local restaurants, directions, and all with a big smile. Breakfast was included in the room price, and was coffee, eggs, biscuits with gravy, bacon, sausage, muffins, and fresh fruit! AND- linen tablecloth. The only minus was that entry to all rooms is from an outside sidewalk which allows a little bit of outside noise in. The hotel is set back from the road aways, so this is less of a bother than you might expect.

The rooms were fine, not huge, but I wasn't paying Hilton rates. Ours were clean and fresh. Service was excellent, particularly when my mother became ill on a Sunday. The weekend desk clerk was wonderful. We were within walking distance of the expo center and had five days of comfort. The grounds are lovely and well maintained. The pool area is large, very clean and pretty.

Rooms were not clean and bath areas very old and mouldy. Service was terrible, as front desk staff refused to deal with loud guest by pool late a night
