The hotel is beautiful, the lobby is inviting. The staff was very knowledgable and friendly. The hotel has a lovely restaurant on the ground floor, and is within walking distance of many excellent restaurants, bars, a movie theatre, the Basque Block, and the 8th St. Marketplace. We drove out to the Shakespeare Festival and saw Into the Woods, an excellent production. When we got back to Boise we wandered the streets, enjoyed the Basque Festival and had a lovely time.

I came to Boise to meet some of my friends and to party out on the town. So if you want to enjoy the surprisingly good nightlife in Boise, The Grove presents by far your best option. It is situated right in the center of everything. The hotel itself was very nice and clean. The restaurant and bar were both great, and the staff at each was friendly. For the money, this hotel can't be beat for the weekend traveler.

If you ask for the mountain view on a weekend; it could get a little noisy. The valley view is the quieter side but not as pretty. Love having a pool/hot tub and room service. Nicely redone rooms and very convenient to live it up on "the town". All in all a fun place to stay and worth the price.

Not enough parking for guests even though they charge you per night. Arrived at 10pm Saturday night. Parking, including valet, full. Desk directed us to garage down the street. Full. Told clerk, shrugged and said, "Huh... sorry. Try another garage." Drove around 90mins looking open garage. Went to lobby to complain. "Eh... sorry, nothing we can do.!" Manager wouldn't talk to us either! Drunks from football game and weddings, running around lobby and halls screaming. Called security at !2:30am due to noise. Not coming back!!!

There was no way to turn off the heat on the floor of the bathroom, and the A/C did not cool enough.
