This hotel is perfect if you want to swim in the ocean, walk on the beach or just lounge by the pool. The Garden rooms seem remote -- the could have been in Dubai -- but the oceanfront rooms are spectacular. Staff was friendly and their restaurant has a killer view. If you tire of their menu, there are other choices in a nearby mini-mall for breakfast or dining.

The Sheraton Kauai has the beach beaches in Kauai. If you want a relaxing, romantic resort then the Sheraton Kauai is the perfect place. If you stay at the resort, do yourself a favor and stay deluxe ocean front. The view is AMAZING!!! For the romantic getaway, I strongly suggest the "romantic dinner"... you will never have a better seat, and the sunset is a lifelong memory.
Although there is not much to do on Kauai, there is plenty of places to see in a walking distance, or take a cab tour, that will do the trick. The best massage is done by a woman named Sophie, both time we have been there we have asked for her by name. The massage is one of the best I have ever had. Dining is excellent, cabana #1 is a must, and a must to reserve in advance as it has the best ocean views, and it is a bit larger than the rest of the cabanas.
For the family, there is a very nice pool with a small water slide. Children seem to enjoy the resort just as much as adults.
I never recommend the luau, but if you haven't gone to one, the Sheraton has a very good one.
The staff is amazing. They take care of their clients, even if it is a small request.
If this is a romantic getaway, take building #1, it is more secluded and "deluxe ocean view" is worth every penny.
If you have any questions, just call the resort and they will answer all your questions.
I and my family have been going here for many years, and we will come back for many years to come.
Aloha.
