Quote: Need I say more...there was a roach in my room...I couldn't sleep well for the next three days after seeing it. Most of the staff are unfriendly. The only upside is the cost and distance from the beach.

Quote: I visited in 2010. The hotel was A+ from the friendly, helpful staff to the quaintness of the hotel. It was just wonderful. Just 2 short blocks to the beach and downtown waikiki. I would definately go back.

We never got to stay-- we were sent to another hotel-- not as nice.

Quote: We arrived at the hotel and the desk attendant told us there was a plumbing problem (the next day no one seemed to know anything about it) and they would send us to sister hotel-- we were sent to a noisy hotel with a room right above a bar that was... Quote: During the stay, we forgot to bring one of the phone chargers. Front desk staff was nice to leave her own charger at the desk so we could use it for several times. The other staff was nice to even brought his own snorkeling kits (4 sets) for my... Read the full Aqua Bamboo and Spa review

Quote: We stayed at the Aqua Bamboo in mid-June 2010....(Sorry for the delay in sending my comments.) I thought the hotel was very quaint, immaculate, and with nicely-done updated rooms. We had a fantastic room for 2 nights (standard) but... Read the full Aqua Bamboo and Spa review

Shabby "Motel" quality stay

  • 2 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • May 13, 2010
Quote: The pictures look so nice but this place was very shabby. It's basically a converted apartment building, very old. The worst party of my experience was the parking situation. My first night there I was told that the parking was full and told to park... Read the full Aqua Bamboo and Spa review

Quote: This is a great find for being right in the heart of Wiakiki! The rooms are small and simple but certainly nice. The beds and linen are lovely and comfy! The courtyard with pool, hot tub, and multiple cabanna provided enough space and/or privacy... Read the full Aqua Bamboo and Spa review
