Worse ever!!!

We arrived in hotel at 9:30am and had been told by front desk that our room wasn't reay until 3:00pm. That was crazy!! After 8 hours flight, we were so tire, and they wanted us to carry our luggages to walk on the waikiki beach to spend some times and wait??? I can't believe there was no room for us as being a hunderes of the rooms' hotel. When we came back to the front desk at 3:00pm, they were finally gave us a "partial ocean view " room with a broken coffee machine, broken lamps, and no soap bathroom. We booked a $* per night's Ocean front room, what a terrible experience!!! That is the worse hotel in the world. The double beds are definitely not double bed size. They are twin size. Never ever live in this Hotel again. Worse ever!!!

My newlywed wife and I were very impressed by the Hyatt. The entire staff was very friendly and all questions/concerns were addressed very promptly. We would stay there again.

My week in Honolulu

This hotel is in a great spot on Waikiki- easy walk to beach and other local attractions. Overall the hotel properity is very tired and in need of major re-do, except the guest rooms, which have been recently refurbished nicely- they are attractive and comfortable- large, w/ great bedding. The A/C is cold and quiet. Every room has a balcony. The elevators can be slow and room service is very limited, but there is a Wonderful daily breakfast buffet on terrace- w/ large selection of high quality fresh food. Self park is the way to go- Valet Park backs up easily. I would stay here again.

The Hyatt's Management has found the secrets to hosting a great vacation: using the guest names, anticipating the guest needs & having a perfect balance of activities for guest of any age.
