right in the heart of all the action of waikiki. first class facility. very friendly and helpful staff. directly across from the duke statue on waikiki beach. the pool area is top notch. this place is kept super clean. the beds are very comfortable. big room. we didnt eat at the hotel. there are so many choices within a short walk from this hotel. millions of shops in the hotel and surrounding area. this area is like combining madison avenue, times square, vegas, and the beach. very safe area. honolulu police sub-station directly across the street. only negatives are minor. they charge to use the safe and charge for coffee in the room. also no daily newspaper. they say this is because they dont charge a resort fee so it all works out. make sure to go to pearl harbor (30 minute drive), diamond head (5 minute drive), drive to the north shore then down the east side...great views. go to chinatown (15 minute drive). dont go up the west side. waste of time. nothing to see. make sure to do the breakfast buffet at dukes in the outrigger across the street. eat at the noodle place on the avenue. great food and cheap. yardhouse also has great food. eat at the shrimp shack on the east side. you only need 3 days in oahu.

Our stay here was fantastic. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the location was just perfect. I can't say enough about the staff at the restaurants, nor about how timely and courteous the cleaning crew was. The pool area attendants were also very professional. Aside from sleeping and showering at the hotel, the other major activity onsite was enjoying a great breakfast buffet every morning (valued at $24/day) overlooking Waikiki Beach, and being tended to by a smiling staff crew. The front desk crew was also helpful and professional. Oh, and plenty of ABC Stores for convenient purchasing of necessary toiletries, water, snacks, etc. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

Our room had a wonderful view of the ocean and mountains. It was kept in spotless condition. The bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows. The room had a safe, small refrig., large closet, spacious bathroom, great shower. The hotel is right across the street from Waikiki Beach for swimming and surfing. Restaurants in the hotel serve excellent food at prices that compare with other fine restaurants in the area. The staff was very accommodating to our every request. The men at the tour desk was exceptionally knowledgable, helpful and good-natured. Many shops are located in the hotel. You really don't have to go anywhere else to get whatever you may need. A wonderful place to stay and a rainbow outside our window almost every morning!

The location was fabulous! It was right in the middle of everything. The beach was across the street, the shopping was awesome. Two doors down was the international market. I loved the service at the hotel from the front desk to the maids. Everyone went over and above to help with any of my needs.

WOW - what a view! We stayed in the Ewa Tower on the 28th floor. The deluxe ocean view was worth every penny. Diamond Head to the left, Waikiki Beach spread out below and a great veiw of Honolulu to the right. Fun to watch all that activity from our lanai. The view at night was equally wonderful. The room was clean and inviting - and being able to open the lanai doors to fully enjoy the ocean breeze was great. The hotel and gounds are open and because of that silky tropical breezes can flow through - I loved the waterfall in the center of the hotel. Small (tiny) drawback - not directly on the beach......that was the only downside. But you can cross to get to a public beach directly accross the street.
