I booked a three night stay, Wed to Sat. Wanted to stay Sat night but the hotel was booked. Sat morning, we packed the car and I went to check out. Asked if they had a cancellation and was told yes, there was one room available. I would have to change rooms. I said OK. The manager, swiped my credit card and gave me two room keys. My husband and I were headed out so, we left our things in the car but did go up to the room to turn the A/C on. When we returned to the hotel at 11:30 that night, someone was in our room. We went to the front desk and the guy working did not know what was going on. He pulled up our check in screen and it showed us checking in at 10:20 and someone checking us out at 12:17. The initials ** were next to the check out at 12:17. We had to sleep in our car that night. We went to the Days Inn the next morning to find out what happened and the manager, told us "It happens". No apology, no compensation. Just oh, well. it happens.

It is what it is! A roadside motel within walking distance to most areas of the Tech campus. If you need an economical and no-nonsense, yet comfortable place to stay for a day or two, why spend too much? The place is clean, serves a basic breakfast to get you on your way, and the staff is okay.
