Arizona Biltmore No More

Room not ready until 1 hour after check in time. Vauge directions to room on sprawling grounds made for long walk in 113 degree heat. Sliding shower door broken and never repaired. Pitiful 27" crt TV. Cheesy walmart furniture on balcony. Fees out the wazoo for a variety of services never used. But... the place is an experience that should be had. The room we had was a nice 2nd level over the main pool. This is no McMotel and it takes time to adjust to the throw back to the glamerous days of resort travel. They just need to ensure that the "value is there" I would have paid more even if only all those little things were taken care of.

It cost a fortune to go anywhere

To use a towncar to go to old town, kierland or most anywhere we paid about $42 plus tip each way.$100 a day is too much.We don't like to rent a car in a strange place so apparently people are willing to pay this to get to the airport or any attractions in scottsdale. It is too much. The pool is not well run.People reserve chairs at 5 or 6 in the AM and don't come back to use them for hours.By 10am most days you don't have chairs available yet there are 100's not being used.Very poor supervision by staff.Poor poolside service for phoenix.A four or five star hotel cannot maintain their ratings with service such as this.

our weekend at the biltmore

a girlfriend and myself stayed at the Arizona Biltmore for a weekend, we were very pleased with our experience at the resort. We checked in on friday and checked out on monday and only left the resort grounds once on sunday night. the pools are all amazing, the catalina pool is the nicest but could have been a bit warmer. every single thing we ate was delicious. the layout is a little difficult to make a mental map of, and the self parking options are not so great, but the atmosphere and overall experience were well worth the trip and cost of our stay.

Great view of Squaw Peak

I lived in Phoenix for several year and never stayed at the Biltmore. It was a treat to stay at a fantastic hotel. The grounds are beautiful, the pools are nice, and the room was comfortable. Service could be a little better.

BIG PRICE, LITTLE SERVICE

I stayed here for 4 nights, not once did anyone offer to carry a bag or open a door. When we checked in the computers were all "down' so check in took an hour. We were told to sit and wait, no one offered so much as a glass of water. The front desk seemed unconcerned about any inconvenience. The food was good in the Grill but nothing exceptional. When I returned home I found I had left something in my room. I called and security had the small item. To add insult to injury I was informed they would only send it Fed Ex, for which I would have to pay, AND they charged an additional handling fee of $10.00. It's a beautiful place but I found it lacking in service.
