Overall (quick) stay was satisfactory. Room was clean and comfy. God forbid though if you were late on their breakfast buffet. The staff hauled away the food as a signal to guests that buffet is over, that's it... It would not hurt if they ask "stragglers" if they still want to partake in the buffet. The staff hauled away the food and did not even bother to ask nor offer us the food that they were about to put away. It is a pity that your impression suddenly changes if you encounter experience from staff who does not know how to exercise common courtesy. They did ask/offer food afte they sensed our displeasure over their actions but too late, the damage has been done.

This is one of the nicest hotels in this area. Clean, roomy, and the bed was so comfy. I will definately be back.

Each and every day the ice service tray was not serviced, despite repeatedly reporting the slight to desk staff. What made this more hurtful was that it was despite an extraordinary tip on Christmas. Once there was no room refresh at all. We initially found the toilet to be partially blocked so as to be unusable. It took two reportings to get it fixed. Although we were in a non-smoking room on a reportedly non-smoking floor, there was one night when sleep was very difficult because of the heavy presence of cigarette smoke in the room. The situation was improved somewhat by opening the window (Thank God for that ability!), and closing the bathroom door. That last leads me to note that the bathroom venting seemed to occasionally fill our bathroom with odors which did not originate in our bathroom. The last comment goes to one of several deficiencies of the hotel. One which would be understandingly difficult to overcome is the paucity of closet space for two people. We were staying there five nights of eight day journey, and were burdened with clothes for a variety of weather conditions. But one feature of the accommodation which could be easily improved is the chest of drawers. It was just the width of the TV and had just three drawers. Even the lowest price motels usually provide more drawer space than that.

This is a beautiful property. The breakfast buffet was superb! I accidently reserved a smoking room, but the ventilation was such that the room did not smell of smoke one bit. The night front desk staff seemed to be more interested in watching television than helping guests. Overall, I would definitely return to this comfortable and clean hotel!
