Our company had visitors in for a 2-night stay. We choose the Hawthorne Inn, since we knew the restaurant had a great reputation. The price was moderate, the location ideal. And our guests were made to feel welcome by an unanticipated hotel mascot, Max, the owner's Saint Bernard. They found the inn to be the perfect home away from home, a very cozy New England-style inn.
The rooms were more than expected and a very good size, and all rooms have refrigerators. The rooms were extremely clean. Guests enjoyed the Wednesday night manager's reception as well as the wonderful continental breakfast, which comes at no additional cost. The hotel provides free high-speed wired and wireless Internet access. Not only did our guests enjoy their stay, but they had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant next door.
Should we have family friends visit or additional visitors to our company, I would recommend it to all. I recommend anyone in the area to dine at their restaurant.
