This was my first stay at the Hyatt and it was wonderful!! Very friendly service, comfortable beds, big array of breakfast - feat. free Starbucks coffee! It's just across the street from six flags - but far enough we still used the trolley service. It has a great upscale, modern feel to it and i just highly recommend anyone going to the Dallas/Arlington area to stay here! My only complaint is it was hard to find..they don't have any signs up except the one out front, and it took us a while to find it.. but once ya do, it's great! :D

This is my first time in a Hyatt Place hotel but it won't be my last! This hotel was great. The rooms were wonderful with a very large flat screen tv, two comfortable beds and a couch that made into a bed. Also the flat screen could be rotasted to face the beds or the couch area. There is a nice work desk and a refrigerator and wet bar area.
The only negative - and it is minor, at least to me - is that the closet was small.
They also have a great continental type breakfast that is free or you can actually purchase some items at their mini-restaurant.
I would highly recommend this. If you are going to Six Flags, Hurricane Harbor, The BallPark, The Arington convention Center or the new Cowboys' Stadium, this is where you should stay!

I read the reviews on this site and was actually looking foward to a weekend in Arlington visiting with family and enjoying a nice hotel.
WAS I IN FOR A SURPRISE!!!!
We checked in at approx. 2 am and the heater/ac unit was leaking LOTS of water (the carpet was soaked). We were tired from a long drive so we placed some towels on the floor and went to sleep. Upon waking in the morning, I discovered that the in-room coffee maker didn't work. My husband left the room to purchase a coffee from the lobby, and while there mentioned to a hotel employee the broken a/c unit and coffee maker. He returned to the room, took a shower, and then I went to take one. The employee stated that my husband and I needed to leave, and that he was going to charge us for smoking in the room!!!!
Needless to say, we left the hotel. Upon confirming the $314 charge by the hotel, I contacted Hyatt Place customer service. The representative took my information and contacted me the next day to advise me that the hotel was refusing to refund my money. Customer Service might be the wrong word for it.
STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!!!!
