Great Place but loud ice machine

Great Staff, Great Room, except the ice machine had a loud humming sound to it and we were 4 rooms down from it. The view of the pool area would have been great if only there was some water in it. It was May. Other than that, I recommend it for its great buffet breaksfast, service, and hospitality.

The location of this hotel is GREAT since it is within walking distance of all there is to do in Charlotte. The problem is that the room was quite small. There were two of us with a king size bed and we were constantly stepping on each other. Also, I resent having to pay $10 per night for parking. It seems like it should be included in the room rate. Overall you pay for location location location.

I very disappointed in the Marriott. I always say in a Marriott when I travel & this hotel does not live up to typical Marriott standards

The service was friendly. The room we stayed in was big with a king-size bed, a couch, and it was clean. The window could open so you could have fresh air. There was an affordable buffet breakfast in the morning. Good food and it's in a great location--downtown Charlotte. They need to open the bar on the weekends. The gym was a bit small.
