Typical NYC prices but overrated

My boyfriend and I chose this hotel because it was right in the heart of Times Square and looked cool online. The room was clean, etc. but for an extra 20 dollars we could have stayed at a hotel where the rooms and bathrooms were more spacious and comfortables. The concept is idealistic in that it strives to be modern and noveau with all of its white furniture and white walls and white sheets, but it did not live up to the hype.

Honeymoon for Theatre Lovers

My husband and I stayed there for 4 nights as a part of our honeymoon and are planning another trip soon. The best thing about The Paramount was the location... you cannot ask for anything better than 1/2 block from Times Square and across the street from the same-day Broadway ticket counter, TKTS. If you're going to New York for the theatre, the Paramount is a perfect place to stay.

OK for a short stay

I'll just jump in.... we paid extra for a deluxe room, but the room was still incredibly small. Very difficult for two people with luggage to move about. Beds very uncomfortable and low to ground. Shower had mold. Request a room away from elevator because the rooms nearby hear everything. The lobby was very nice with a great vibe. The Business Center was a disgrace. Two computers.. slow connection, one computer broken the other got stuck in french. The center was poorly lit and it was difficult to type with such low light. The staff was very polite and helpful. The hotel is in a great location for theatre or Times Sq. There is a subway stop a couple blocks away. Beware of the small pizza shop 2 doors down (Patzeria Perfect Pizza), they overcharged us on both occasions we visited. I've stayed in better hotels in NYC for about the same price, so you may do better looking at other options.

Room was small. Confort does not describe their beds.
