I really loved staying here. It's right on the beach, has a great waterside restaurant with live music (Duke's - the most popular restaurant in Waikiki!), and in the heart of the shopping district on Kalakaua Ave. Rooms are fantastic - had a room on the 14th floor oceanview that had a great view of the ocean, the lifeguard stand and I could hear the music at night if I left my lanai door open. (Beware leaving it open unattended, those pigeons wont take no for an answer!) Staff was incredibly kind and genuine, room service took half the time they said it would. I'll always stay at an Outrigger!

I stayed at this hotel on a recent business trip. The location is excellent as is the staff and amenities. I would stay here again for sure.

The location was perfect! Right on the beach and near the best shopping in Waikiki. Loved watching the surfers and outrigger canoes from our balcony. Our room was spacious and comfortable and had nice Hawaiian touches. Be sure to go to Dukes for drinks -- in the afternoon or late night. It's the spot!

I recently stayed at this property for a business trip. My family was able to accompany me on this trip so it was an extra special occasion. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the property. The staff was exceptional and helped with all of my family?s requests. Our accommodations were extremely comfortable and enhanced our appreciation for Oahu. The dining facilities; Hula Grill, Duke?s and Chucks Steak House were good as usual. I really recommend staying at this hotel!!

The location was excellent in the heart of everything, with great access to the bus lines and shopping. The Tiki bar and Duke's both had great food. However, we found that we loved the food and drinks at The Shorebird in the Outrigger Reef the best. I highly reccommend the Lava Flow drinks at the Shorebird!!!! The beach was great with multiple points of access to and from. The deli that is near the laundry and pool area is great for snacks and such during the day. Things can be crowded on the beach, but it was a great place to watch the sunset with awesome pictures and memories to bring back to MN. The activities person (X) was phenomenal with recommendations and getting things set up for us. The room was good, very clean and spacious as was the rest of the Outrigger. The only complaint that we have about the Outrigger is that the walls are very thin (you can hear what people are saying or if the T.V. is on low). We could hear everything that was going on in our neighbor's room and after 1.5 hours of them yelling at their kids we called the front desk and within 5 minutes had a quiet rest of the night. When we go back we will stay here again and can't wait!!!
