This is an older hotel but it was perfect for the amount of time we spent in the room. The room was clean and the balcony was a great place to sit in the morning. The bathroom is small but i can live with that. it was in the perfect spot we could walk to the international market, to the beach, and to some great resturants. The one thing that sold me, my pillowwas left behind on accident,....and they mailed it to me free of charge. I have to say I was more than impressed with the overall quailty and service that we recieved. We are planning a trip back and we will be looking forward to staying at this hotel.

The service was very good when we first checked in and while we were there. My problem was when we checked out. Our pickup time was at 6p.m. ,check out at the hotel was 11a.m. We asked at the desk about our luggage it was kept in a secure area till time for departure which was a great help to us. But the wait in the lobby was something to be desired. We had a hard time using the bathrooms as a key card had to be used even in the lobby area, and our key cards expiered at 12 noon. The desk people acted offended because we asked to use the facilities we were also told that we would be allowed the use of a room to freshenup before we left for our flight no one seemed to know what we were talking about. Had we known the trouble we would have it would have been to our advantage to book the room for one more day even if we didn't stay the night.The room we were in could have used some updating but the maid service was very good as was the help we recieved when we needed help getting from one place to another. Overall for the price the hotel was good and in a great location for the area and beach.

My daughter & I had a great time. We were well located with grocery, bus and shopping facilities at the door. We only needed a place to sleep and this served us well. We had a great view from the balcony. All staff were friendly and helpful especially when we had to extend our stay due to flight delays. Activity desk girl was very helpful and cheery. My daughter had a great 16th birthday. Thanks. I am presently looking at booking again for 2008.

Over all the hotel was OK. The location was great and the staff was nice; especially the maids. But the room did not look as nice as the pictures. The room was small, especially the bathroom. The hall ways had a funny smell. My 10 year old daughter kept complaining of the smell everytime we walked in the hall way. She did not like the hotel at all. The parking was terrible. We paid $18/day for parking that was too small and hard to get in and out of. On some weekends, I was not able to get out of the parking lot because my car was blocked by another car. I had to wait for about 15 minutes before someone moved the other car. This hotel needs to be renovated.
