We spent 5 nights and they were comfortable and quiet. The staff was really nice and were helpful with directions to department stores and restaruants. The service was great. The room was cleaned each day while we were out and we really appreciated that. There seemed to be some complaints about the train whistle but we barely heard it and it certainly was not a problem We highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express Flagstaff to all those considering it for their stay.

Nightmare Hotel - Near railway - Train Horns very loud all through the night. This Hotel needs to invest in double/triple glazing. Staff are courteous/helpfull but fighting an uphill battle as hotel is old and badly needs revamped. I put this down as one of worst hotels I have experienced and will now avoid Holiday Inns as a rule.

My husband and I stayed here on a vacation to the grand canyon and had a great experience. Lots of wonderful things to do close by and the staff was very helpful with directions.
Contential breakfast was good. Only woke up once to a train whistle. Would stay here again and take advantage of the shuttle from Phoenix airport and rental car service.

This hotel was great in all areas, being a business traveler you also want to enjoy the extra things like work out room, pool and being able to walk to restaurants.

We planned a last minute trip to Flagstaff so our kids could play in the snow. Most places were booked, so we decided to stay here. BIG MISTAKE! We booked a room for 3 children and 2 adults. We knew there was only 2 queen beds in the room, but the reservation states you can get a rollaway bed. We checked in and were told that the room is too small for a rollaway bed. I asked how we can sleep 3 children and 2 adults in a room with 2 queen beds and the helpful associate suggested that someone sleep on the floor. We didn't pay $99/night to sleep on the floor. We requested extra blankets and pillows to help make the floor a little more comfortable and it took close to an hour to have these delivered to our room. We actually could have used more to make the beds more comfortable. They probably weren't any more comfortable than the floor.. This hotel boasts a complimentary hot breakfast. We ended up at IHOP. The 'hot" breakfast consisted of dry eggs, cereal and some pasteries in an overcrowded dining area. We will NEVER stay here again. Next time, we'll book our vacation further in advance and stay at the Little America FOR THE SAME PRICE!!!!!
