We were expecting what we saw in the pictures, but that was not the case. Our room was not ready at 2PM. We were told that the carpet was just cleaned and it would not be ready for at least 4 hours. When we got into the room the carpet was still wet ...Read more

There are no tall buildings on key west (or much of the keys for that matter) so the typical 'motel' open air hallway is standard. We showed up and they had given us a single bed when we requested a double; however, we had shown up at 11pm and the ...Read more

Nowhere else in Key West has as nice of a beach and tiki bar area for the money. The rooms are outdated and musty. It is not convenient to walk to Duval. The staff more than make up for the hotel itself. The act like they have nothing better to do ...Read more

This hotel was quaint, I liked the "jungle" feel. They even had rabbits hopping around the grounds. Quiet. Watch out for the heavy traffic on the main road out front!

All the pictures on here are EXACTLY what you get. The beds are very comfortable and extra large. The continental breakfast was nothing to extraordinary, but it was nice to have food somewhere on the property. The front desk is only open from ...Read more

We went in January 2009. Apparently, it was cold spell (65-70 degrees but windy every day) Everything that was promoted about the hotel was there but it was too cold to go swimming in the pool and for 2 of our 5 days the Tiki bar was not open ...Read more
