Rooms are well sized, though outdated and needed new wallpaper and carpets. Breakfast buffet had a good selection, as well as omelets to order, however, food on buffet line was not kept hot enough. Good price for the money.

We reserved two rooms for Parent's weekend at Cornell.
When we arrived, the elevator smelled of stale chlorine bleach, our bathroom was not clean, hair in tub and mold and dust on vanity and toilet.
Attempt was made to clean bathroom and the next day, I asked for another room, the room that was offered was not any better.
The only positive was the bed - it was very comfortable.
We checked out the next day.
Shuttle bus was nasty and not designed to carry passengers.

Front desk very helpful. All staff courteous.
Bathroom and room smells strongly of mildew. Plumbing is late 1960's? Don't plan to sit in the tub. Shower is okay.
When we arrived, room was pretty clean, except for hair ball in trash, and hair trapped in hair dryer.
Bar/bar food was great, comfortable, friendly. We noticed those dead 'possum, squirrel, and raccoon carcasses mounted(?) on the tavern wall...very country....!

This hotel is second rate at best. The beds are fine, but that's about it. The rooms are substandard. The whole hotel needs to be redone. It is tired and worn. The rooms are not particularly clean, including the bathroom which had a clogged shower- in fact we had to change rooms because the bathtub was filled with water on arrival, but the second room still had the same problem. Don't waste your time or money on this overpriced hotel- go elsewhere. Ramada should be ashamed of themselves!!
Next time, we will pay more and stay somewhere else

The location was great, quiet, close to places to eat, movies... people at the front desk were nice and looked up the phone number for the movie theater for us... and the pillows were great. The problems were that the hottub was broken and the outdoor pool was closed, there were no microwaves (even though the website said that there were), refridgerators were available only for an extra charge, the bathroom grout was not clean, there was a hair stuck to the tile, there was mildew above the shower on the ceiling, the air conditioner in the room was very loud, there was no breakfast buffet and we had to go to the front desk to get a special coupon for our complimentary breakfast (shouldn't breakfast be complimentary for all guests, not just ones that book through a particular website?) which we decided to skip because it took so long for the waitress to get there. Ithaca is such a beautiful place so my family had a great time anyway, despite the problems at the hotel, but next time we will stay someplace else.
