Out of control guests.

Stayed for 2 nights. Both nights, 2 busloads of adolescents arrived late in the evening. They roamed the halls, were loud, and not under proper supervision. They did not settle down for hours. I got very, very, little sleep. The hotel staff was ill equipped to deal with the problem. They made a small adjustment to the bill after I complained. The room was small but clean.

I have stayed in a fair share of budget hotels but this one has to be the worst. The room was dirty and the hotel is very run down. There was trash on the floor in the main stairwell when we checked in on Friday night and it was still there on Monday morning when we left. The room itself was run down and dirty. The sheets did not fit either of the beds. There was a pile - yes, a pile - of hair, dirt and lint behind the bathroom door which also kept us company for our entire stay, even though the towels were changed. When I went to the front desk at 6am on Saturday morning to talk to someone about the maintenance of the room, the person behind the desk blatantly ignored me after repeated "excuse me's" and attempts to make eye contact.
It being a holiday weekend - Labor Day - the stay was over $* for 3 nights.

I was pleasantly surprised with my stay here. The hotel was located very close to the company I was working with and provided me with shuttle to and from the plant. I was very surprised at the outgoing staff, they were very helpful and answered all my questions, provided me with directions and helped me pick a great choice for dinner.
I will stay here again and again as I come into Ithaca now once a month for work! Thank you for my great stay!
