Love This Hotel, Such a Gem
I loved this hotel! Galveston is one of my favorite getaway spots, and the Tremont House is so romantic. I would definitely come back to this hotel- the lobby alone is gorgeous. My room was clean, with an adorable bed that you would never find in a standard hotel. The Strand District has some great shopping so make sure and stop by there; it’s very close to the hotel. I would recommend this hotel for a romantic getaway.

This property really is one of those gems you feel lucky to have found. It was very inviting with an old world charm but still provided all of the necessities required for a great stay. The restaurant, which is attached to the lobby is great for lunch. I'm sure it would be for dinner as well but we only enjoyed it for lunch.
We went for a long weekend away and I would definitly recommend spending a day just walking through the Strand district. It is particularly enjoyable if you like shopping. We also spent an afternoon at the Hotel Galvez where we were able to use the pool because we stayed at the Tremont House. Great stay!

I just got back from a stay at this beautiful hotel, and could not recommend it highly enough. The whole place is elegant and charming; yet comfortable with great amenities like wireless internet and towel warmers. It is in a good location in historic Galveston and is right in the middle of the whole Strand area. I did the afternoon tea in the atrium lobby, and it just added to the ambiance.

Staying at the Tremont House was such a great experience for my husband and I. The hotel is beautiful, and the staff was very friendly through our whole stay. I loved the d?cor, especially the high ceilings; it truly felt like an historical environment. We ate the hotels restaurant, Merchant Prince, and would definitely recommend trying it. We stayed for a small weekend getaway and would go back again if we had the chance. It was ideal for a relaxing weekend away.
