Not bad, but with reservations

Property seems old and needs updating. Room was clean and comfortable and staff was polite. No clock, tv remote was broken, and it took 15 minutes for the shower to get hot water. Room lighting was dim, despite several lamps. Hotel is not in the best neighborhood. Highway noise was very noticeable. Free internet and a continental breakfast were nice perks.
Acceptable for the price

Neigbourhood a bit creepy, with hanging people around outside asking for whatever. First room smelled like cat pie, but after complaint immediately got another room which was ok. Simple breakfast.

The old adage is true... If you pay less than $40 per night you will be subject to that environment. There was a cock roach on the bathroom counter, the fixtures were in grave need of repair, the carpet was so dirty my white socks were black after one night. The workers left screws and debris in the parking lot. The stay was not a good experience. I checked out after one night and paid for a new hotel room elsewhere. The staff tried to be accomodating, but the facility was not in good shape. It was the type of place you see in movies where the bad guys hang out just for a night's rest!
The staff tried to be accommodating, but the rooms are all smelly and falling apart. It was what I paid for.
