We had a June trip to the Green Valley Ranch. Weather was fabulous and so was the accomodations. We have stayed at several nic places in the past few years but I have to say this one tops our list. My husband absolutly LOVED it. Great service, clean rooms, great workout facility and glorious pool. Our favorite pool was the one in the spa. More quiet and relaxed than the main big pool. They had this fabuolus lemon and cucumber water by the pool that was self serve. Very upscale. Great cabana type things to use free of charge to get out of the sun. Just a wonderful place. Casino is on opposite side of hotel so you do not have the noise and crowds. Buffet for breakfast was so reasonable and good. Lunch was great too. Never made dinner because we were to full. We will be back!!!!!!!!!!

Restaurants are great, rooms and property well kept. Would rec and stay again.

We stayed in December 2008 1 week prior to Christmas, and it was absolutely perfect.
The room, food, staff, spa, casinos were wonderful.
Would definately recommend it to anyone including families with children. My son lives in Henderson and it was and will be the next place we will stay during the Christmas Holidays.

I really like this place because the hotel is separate from the casino - which means there is a quiet, comfortable lobby away from the noise and chaos of the casino. Also, GVR has a wonderful exercise facility and great spa with steam room, sauna, hot tub and very pleasant staff.
The adjacent "District" shopping center as well as the Whole Foods and Cheesecake Factory across the road mean there are a variety of eating places and stores within a short walk. The attached multi-screen cinema is also a plus.
The rooms are very comfortable and getting to the Strip for a show is a quick 15-20 minute drive (we usually rent a car since we like to see the surrounding areas). All-in-all, I highly recommend this place.
Bargain Firsy Class Resort

Stayed at GVR 3 days Dec 21-24, very nice accomadation about 6 miles from the strip, with a cinema and shopping district at the Hotel casino entrance, even though th 5 star resorts on the strip are nice also this type of setting is much more relxing than being traped in a mega resort, the restuarnts and the buffet have some the highest ratings, and is located in a nice upscale part of vegas off highway 215, This is one of the finest resorts i have ever stayed and was a bargain.
