This is a small town with limited accomodations so when looking at the choices and the claim of just recently being update, I thought our family would have acceptable accomodations for a family funeral. I was wrong. Upon entering the lobby, the facility didn't smell clean. Our family of four (5 year old and 20month old) used a luggage cart (provided by the Days Inn) to transport our items from the car to our second floor room but there was NO elevator. The room was of normal size but the walls were dirty and there was a hole in the window screen. The towels were thin and worn. The pool was warm but the walls were slimey and the hot tub had alot of sand on the bottom. The room did have a refridge which was nice and the waffles for breakfast were great. However, the mattresses were terrible. The springs literally were busting through. After the second night of a 3night stay, at 3am I used the WiFi and booked a room a few hours away and we started our return trip a day early.

I traveled from Tx with my 4 year old son to visit my daughter and her family. There are not many accomidations to choose from in this small town so I decided to try the newest place. I was pleasantly surprized by the quality of the room ex: bed & linens as well as toiletries are the same quality that are found in finer hotels. Yes ,I would stay there again.

Worn thread-bare towels, hallway and room have strong smell, no exhaust fan in toilet room, crumpled sheets on bed, broken heater/cooler unit. Stayed one night and charged for two.
