OK hotel; good (not great) deal

PLUS: The newly renovated rooms use a very small space ingeniously; good storage and they're clean and up-to-date (so are bathrooms). Location can't be beat, roof deck is lovely.MINUS: Beds may be too short for anyone over 5'9"; staff friendly but often harried; rooms have CD players/clock radios which no one knows how to work (no manuals) so they go off - loudly - at all hours and can be heard throughout entire floor. (So, the rooms are far from soundproof - not for honeymooners!) Pickwick was OK - and cheaper - before renovations.
