Extremely small rooms

I was quite shocked after checking into my room. The room had one bed, with just enough room to walk around the three sides of it. The walls in the entire hotel are painted gray and the lighting is poor. Very dreary. And no lift. After staying one night, we cancelled the rest of our reservations and moved to another, bigger, brighter hotel. Would not recommend this hotel.

The Kirketon Hotel

We decided to break the routine and do something different, just to try and live our city as tourists at least once. We choose The Kirketon because my parents stayed there when they came over to visit, and they found themselves just like at home! So did we! The rooms are really clean and modern. The atmosphere all around the hotel is the one of a contemporary art gallery, with art pieces on every wall. The staff were friendly and the service excellent! We could spend a romantic night dining at the hotel's restaurant (really good food indeed!) and having a drink in one of the many locals in Kings Cross. I certainly recommend The Kirketon to everyone who wants to get a high quality hotel experience.
