Best Things Nearby:
Beautiful scenery; hiking in mountains, gondola rides; mountain biking, golfing; day trips to quaint Vermont villages

Best Things About the Resort:
Great fitness center, steam room, sauna, heated pool with two hot tubs; beautiful setting with mountains all around; newly decorated-Vermont style; friendliness of staff; nice restaurant

Resort Experience:
Resort was in a quiet, scenic area, good for relaxing and outdoor activities; nearby (within a few minutes) were numerous quality restaurants. Vermont is a beautiful state, no litter, no billboards, very appealing. In the summer, we were able to enjoy lots of nice weather (warm and sunny, but not too hot and humid), clean fresh air and easy access to a variety of activities from hiking, horseback riding, swimming, golfing to touring villages, taking tours (Ben and Jerry's, Teddy Bear factory, maple syrup, etc.) Lots of quaint shops and antique stores. It was a great vacation.

Best Things Nearby:
Skiing, heated outdoor pool, and the restaurants.

Best Things About the Resort:
Killington skiing and snowboarding is one of the best on the northeast. Relax and unwind in the the spa. They give a good massage at a resonable price. The outdoor heated pool in the winter is a blast, you really have to try it.

Resort Experience:
Very nice resort that is very clean and well-kept. Outdoor heated pool with twin whirlpools is fun since you are in the middle of the winter and you watch the skiiers come down the slopes, not to mention the snowball fights in the pool. You can ski from the slopes directly into the resort.

If you want to rent, the prices are very, very high. Two nights at peak time for a one bedroom was about $1400, and that does not include skiing and the room is nothing to brag about. They have a spa that was nice, and a one hour full rub down is $80.

The rooms range from a three bedroom to a studio. I have gone here a few times and would recommend a one bedroom that sleeps six over the three bedroom unit. The living area in the thre bedroom is very small. In the one bedroom there is much more room to sit and walk around. The one bedroom has a murphy bed and a separate bedroom with a queen bed. I would rate this resort an eight.

Extra large rooms, in a 5 star hotel located in the city center. Within walking distance of shopping, dining and a business center. Hotel has 2 restaurants, a bar and disco on site.
