We brought our 6 year old daughter to the the Magic Kingdom, and chose this hotel for the waterpark. The two queen bed room was spacious and clean, the staff was helpful and courteous, and we all enjoyed the waterpark!! Coffee in the room, good buffet breakfast available for a small cost. For less than the cost of a single one day admission to the park, and half the price to stay in a 'value resort' on Disney property, we got a comfortable room and a day's worth of entertainment! I would definitely recommend this hotel for a family with kids.

Our family vacation last summer was there and never again!!! Both of our connecting rooms bathroom tubs were backed up and they never came to fix it. We had to threaten to cancel our reservation early in order to get new rooms. Once we finally spoke to the hotel mgr. thats when things started moving. My 4 year old loved the water park but my teens scratched their backs on the slides. WARNING to mothers, my 4 year old came back with a skin condition called Mollusco. This is a fungal wart that causes extreme itching on the skin and appears as tiny warts on the skin and apparently thrives in pools. The breakfast was not worth the price. We consistently needed to ask for towels on a daily basis and go figure we had to ask for toilet paper too. So needless to say we all said never again and we should have bailed out early when we wanted to versus taking a good jester. Just take precaution because we felt the website is misleading to what you really get.
Love the location and great place to stay!

I read some negative reviews prior to going on my vacation but in all honesty we stayed at this hotel for 7 days in December 2008 over Christmas and I am coming back in July to stay here again! You cannot find a better price on a hotel that is this nice. We looked everywhere... If you feel like paying an extra grand go stay at the Nickelodeon hotel... If you want to find a cheap hotel that still stands above the rest and offers an amazing water park, here you go! Note: I would recommend getting a rental car while you stay in Orlando. Its very difficult to try to enjoy Florida without one.
Much, much better than negative reviews indicate

My family and I were very pleasantly surprised to find that our hotel stay was excellent here. I was a bit daunted by all the complaints about the staff and datedness of this hotel, but we enjoyed our stay thoroughly. We booked a suite that included two queen beds and a bunkbed, and were very happy with both the space provided and the cleanliness of the room. My four-year-old felt very comfortable with the bunk beds, and since his area was located down a short hallway from the two queens, the rest of the family was able to stay up later without disturbing him. We were also thrilled to find that we had a full sized refridgerator, a kitchen sink, a round dining table, and tons of cabinet space, since we intended to trim back our expenses by eating in the room as much as possible. All issues during our stay were dealt with swiftly and courteously by the staff. I misplaced my keycard while we were at the pool, and it was immediately replaced. On our last night, a new family moved into the room next door with a very hyper dog that barked and howled when they left it alone. We called the front desk, and they quickly handled the situation. The waterpark is excellent as well. For the first time ever, my son was able to stand up in the lazy river space, and he became more secure in the water than I've ever seen him before. Our plans fell through for one day of our trip, the waterpark was a great option. Bottom line: yes, there is an automatic fee of $12.00 per night, and yes, it is farther away from Orlando, but the $1.25 for the turnpike is worth it. We will definitely be back!
Cannot wait to return again !

We reserved a queen suite for two families - eight all together. We had a blast. But again, we don't pick poke on every ridiculous thing either. Yes, it's near a abandoned gas station, yes it's off the turnpike, yes it's 20 minutes from I-drive and the heart of orlando - yes it's an older style hotel, and yes the "waterpark' is small. But you be thankful for what you get. The gas station didn't bother us, big deal. The turnpike...we settled that by getting directions off of mapquest to avoid the tolls on the turnpike and we got to I'drive and Universal just fine. The water park certainly is not Aquatica - but there are no lines, it's an intimate quiet area that allows you to soak up the slow pace of a vacation. Nevermind there are 150 cameras on campus as the staff takes your childs safety serious. Yes, it's an older style hotel - but it's brightly colored, clean and updated very well. We had a fantastic time - we all fit perfectly in our suite with our private balcony over looking the waterpark. We relaxed in a peaceful atmosphere and we still made our way to our destination just fine with mapquest directions. Our childrens ages ranged from 6 - 15 and all four of them cannot wait to come back. Plenty of lawn chairs, plenty of room. So if you want a nice getaway hotel that offers a nice little extra - this is for you. But if you want to pick poke about everything negative - keep on looking. WE were very impressed and will be back soon! Lovely hotel all the way around!
