Not worth the money

My opnion is for the money you can stay some where else and get better service. We checked in on a Sunday and we used a glass for a drink it sat in the same place until we left on Wednesday. There was dirty dishes left in the hall way from someones room service for two days. The breakfast buffet was very small and very pricey. When I was packing to leave I bent down to pick something up off the floor and looked behind the dresser there had to be inches of dirt and dust behind it. If I would of seen it the first day I would of left.My advice stay somewhere else. The only thing I liked was the terrace it has . You can stand out there and look at the city

Stayed here for my son's graduation. The accomadations were overwhelming. The room was extremely clean and the staff was extremely courteous and prompt when we asked for extra towels or any special service. The NYC view from our window was spectacular and added to the experience. I highly recommend this hotel to any traveler.

first and foremost it is clean...that is the most important part...people are saying the rooms are outdated..they must not stay in hotels often to know that hotel decor is not the same as your home decor...yes it is a little plain and needed some color..but if you have experience staying in hotels you will know that the decor and patterns in the rooms and in line with other hotels..the bathroom was modern and better than average..the was a little small but again if you have stayed in other hotels in nyc they are all that size and some I hear are even smaller. the t mobile internet service was very good.. the lobby is on the second floor so you have to take 2 different elevators to get out of the buildings..no big deal though..the checkin in the evening was really quick.. no the staff was not overly friendly but they went rude either..but do you go away to talk to the staff or enjoy yourself? that's what I thought...the only complain I had was that the help that stands outside push you to take private transportation other than the yellow cabs..and they are much more expensive..and if they negotiate a lower price the driver tries to swindle his way out of honoring the lower price..just take the yellow cab and rest assured ...also no coffee pots in the rooms..I was told by housekeeping they don't provide them..which was unusual due almost all hotels provide them now.. not directly in center of times square but if you go in nice weather it is no big deal to was a few short blocks..I wouldn't pay over $250 a nice though her but under $200 I feel is a steal!!
Deceiving

When we arrived I found the outside of the hotel to be less than inviting considering the approaching holidays. The lobby area was clean and sleek, however, that said, the same cannot be stated about the room. While for the price we expected a small room, the rugs were dirty and there was an inch or more of unvaccumed dust around the edges. The linens on the bed were of a very cheap quality and the under blanket was like something out of a motel on some strip. ie, burn holes, and just plain low-lifish. I just expected a better quality of bedding. The products were horrible. I couldn't even find a shower cap. The staff outside of a doorman and the hotel clerk, were like robots doing the daily thing. No up-beat anything. As the saying goes, if you don't want to work, then don't !! If a room like that goes for 300.00 to 400.00 on a prime night, I wonder what the others are like. Just disappointed, because we loved the location.
Nice staff, rooms need attention, not a great value

We stayed Thanksgiving weekend. Convenient to all tourist attractions - easy walk to Rockefeller Center, Radio City, theaters and Times Square. Parade outside the front door. Staff was courteous, pleasant. Rooms and hallways are small - could use updating. No luxury here but fine basics. NO ONSITE PARKING though bellman is on ground floor. We were nervous about leaving our bags unattended at the ground entry so we carried them ourselves. No in-room coffee makers. A little overpriced.
