This hotel is just as good as staying at the casino hotel, but for a fraction of the price. If you are looking for a high priced luxury casino hotel with 24-7 one-on-one service the Cristata is not for you. However, if you are like most everyday people who just want to be close to the action, and only need a comfortable place to sleep, then this hotel is the one. All the rooms are suites, so you get complete comfort no matter what size bed you need. The bed was a little soft for my taste but completely comfortable otherwise. The living area with fridge, cabinets, sink, sofa and desk was more than enough room to lounge in after a long day of gambling and shopping. I wish we had known about this hotel sooner, we would have used it every time we came up here. Being from Long Island the trip to Mohegan Sun is a short ferry ride but having the Cristata so close and having it be so comfortable, we will come here every time we need a quick getaway.

Clean, friendly and convenient. That's all we were looking for, and that's what we got. A quick two-night getaway in the spectacular New England foliage with the casino and its restaurants thrown in. We didn't take advantage of the complimentary breakfast or the indoor pool, but the convenience of the limo to, and from, Mohegan Sun is a great idea. Less than five minutes away and available during all casino hours. We dined at the Michael Jordan's and Tuscany without worrying about driving. Saved on hotel and splurged on dining. The room has a little refrigerator, so we brought our own cereal, milk, coffee. The hotel seemed quiet, but we were there Sunday and Monday nights. Non-smoking room was, in fact, a non-smoking room, comfy king bed, pull-out sofa was not used. TV was old, but we just checked the news, so it was fine. The location is covenient on Route 32, but no great views to speak of. We took a ride to Mystic, about 20 minutes, a real New England-y river town, quiet in the off-season. We were able to check in early and the recption people were fine with it It's nothing fancy, but we were pleasantly surprised with the experience for the price. Oh, and play numbers 19 and 22 on roulette to pay for your meals! We'll be back.

Would recommend to Family & Friends

This stay, along with concert tickets to Mohegan Sun Casino, was a 40th birthday present to my husband. It wasn't the most romantic hotel, but well worth the price and location. The hotel & room appeared clean. We enjoyed their complementary limo service to the casino. I would definately stay there again and recommend to our family & friends.

Great Deal

My boyfriend and I have stayed at this hotel 2x in the past 8 months when we went to go to the casinos. Each time we were greeted by very friendly people on the phone, and in person. Service was always friendly when we needed anything, and they were always there when you need them. The rooms are a very decent size for the price you are paying. my case it was $*the first time we stayed and then $* the second. Everything is clean, however the non smoking sections of the hotel are much better, because the smoking sections smell really bad, being a smoker, I would have rather stayed in non smoking and gone outside when I needed to smoke rather than staying in a smoking room. The continental breakfast runs during a wide timeframe and is very good, and everything is always fresh, they have cereal, bagels, danish, english muffins, toast, a toaster, omelets, hard boiled eggs, orange juice, apple juice, and coffee and tea and all that. They also provide a nice limo to bring you to the casinos until 2 am most nights....and its only about 2 minutes from mohegan sun. This hotel is well worth what you pay for. We cant wait to go back again next month!

I was here this past weekend and the hotel was absolutely horrible. We specifically requested non-smoking rooms but since our flight was late, and we arrived late, they gave our room to other guests. Our room was completely dirty and my asthma was bothering me. It reeked and the management was rude saying, well you should have confirmed the nonsmoking - even though its what we selected online!
