Loved my stay in this hotel just off Union Square. Clean, quiet, and the food in the lobby restaurant was great!

Customer service was great. Rooms were small but nice small. Beds were wonderful. Beautiful old hotel and centrally located to all transportation. Got tired of ALL of beggars but that it not the hotels fault!! Enjoyed out stay
Very nice place to stay, great location, and very affordable

We just stayed at this hotel and really enjoyed the whole experience for our 2 night stay.
The location is terrific for people who want cable car access, shopping, theatre, or just hanging out for the nightlife too. The hotel shares some loby space with the Kuleto's resturant, so access is very easy for their wonderful meals. The hotel is older, but has been recently upgraded in every way. Our King size bed fit into a moderately sized room just fine. The inner facing room was quiet at all hours. Bath room was smaller sized, but all new and had high- end luxery features. I believe the hotel is 7 flors high, and some other rooms did face to the front street (Powell). The price is very reasonable, hope it stays that way.
Will stay again.

Loved our stay here. Stayed in an inside room - it was the quietest hotel room I've ever stayed in. Rooms are well appointed and nicely updated. Very comfortable feather bed. Yes, the room was small, but that's to be expected in a boutique-style hotel, especially in San Francisco. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very good value for the money. I would definitely stay here again.

I booked my hotel on a budget and I came across Villa Florence and i thought why not....it's in the middle of union Square. It happened to be amazing. When you walk in, the first thing my boyfriend had said to me was "omg, how much did we pay for this....it looks SO expensive"
The service was great too. The room was on the smaller side, but I didn't expect anything too big, it IS san francisco, everything's running on limited space. We requested to be by the window, and although it was noisy I personally loved it because it gave that whole city feel. But If your not into loud noise, request when you get there to get a room that is inside. I LOVED the hotel and will definetly be back the next time. For the price nothing beats this. PERFECT destination, and only two blocks away from bart.
