My experience was great. Best stay ever in Toronto! The staff was outstanding; Check-in pleasant! The free breakfast buffet was outstanding! Room was roomy, very clean, sink , fridge, and burner a great touch! Beds a bit low for my taste, but comfortable. Lovely view of the water. My sister loved the dark wood floors, an unexpected touch! Good temp control! Flat screen TV was nice touch but only HBO in-room movies, no pay-per-view. Dining was superb expereicne each time. Try the Creme Brule! 2 for lunch $50; 2 for diner, $80 including tips and taxes--but we are big eaters. Again, great staff! Pool changing rooms could use more amenities (bring shampoo). The roof top spa is an absolute must visit, soak and stare. The view from there at night is really beautiful. Extremely nice for the price and what you get. Eaton Center mall area, a small market, and subway within 7-minutes/ easy walk. Airport Express shuttle will drop you and pick you up all within a 5-minute walk! I can't wait to return.

...this hotel was very comfortable and clean. We had a family of four stay in one suite, and I think the only complaint from the kids was the pull out couch/bed had a strange odor. Other than that...great room, friendly staff, safe underground parking, and fabulous breakfast buffet. We would definately stay again.

Great staff and facilities

This hotel had many fine features that made the stay very nice. Some of my favorites were, the 2 large roof top hot tubs with the drive-in size tv and the gorgeous view, the bath robes, the fresh flowers in the loby, the large and tasty selection in the breakfast buffet, three flat screen tv's in my junior suite, and the door men. The location was great, it was easy to walk to many interesting sites.

Bathroom bungled

Checking into the hotel started with an exceptionally long wait in line before getting signed in. A rather discouraging start to our 'get away' weekend. Once signed in and following a look through the room our hopes were reassured. A very nice room, large bed, a couple of TV's, and a lot of nice amenities. The first room issue came up on the first use of the shower. On pulling out the tap handle to turn on the water, as designed to do, the handle came off into my hand. Not only did this make it a little challenging to turn off the water, turning the water back on was no longer possible. A friendly repair person showed up very quickly following a call to the front desk and the issue was taken care of. Our second issue was the backing up and overflowing of the toilet. Who knows why it happened but the resulting flood of toilet water on the floor wasn't too nice. Once again it was repaired quickly although this time the clean up was very unsatisfactory. Puddles of water remained on the floor and the toilet was covered in water of questionable cleanliness. The bathroom itself needed a good wipe down before any of this happened. The complimentary breakfast had lots of food and a lot of variety but was really nothing to write home about.
