Good service, Great location

My mom and I had a nice time at the Waikiki Parc. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size.. as was the bathroom. The wooden slats covering the windows were quite dusty, but as soon as I voiced my concerns to the housekeeping dept., they quickly took care of the problem. We liked that you had to use your room key to have access to the guest elevators...it made us feel secure. The pool was good and had a beautiful ocean view, but the "lanai" area on the other side of the hotel was not...as it looked like a storage area. The fitness room was a joke. The room was very small and dark. It doesn't make you want to work out there. I swam laps at the pool and ran outside instead. The hotel front is not that great, as you have to walk up into a side street/alley way to get to it...but the location is great! You are right around the corner to a Dennys and other affordable restaurants. Within walking distance to the beach, shops and main tourist street. At the end of our stay, the hotel even offered us the use of the hotel limo to go to the airport, for the same price as a cab. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Fabulous Hotel, Excellent Customer Service

We were here in April '08, when ATA went bankrupt. Hotel staff gave us special online travel website customer service number and we were re-booked instantly at no expense!! We spoke to other people who had been sitting at the airport for days waiting to get a flight home! A+++ for Waikiki Parc Hotel!! Every Parc Hotel employee greeted us with a smile and a "Good afternoon" and anyone behind a desk called us by name!! Good morning Mr. & Mrs. so and so ~ I felt like royalty! The valet was friendly and very quick to offer you towels or directions for a beach excursion. Our Mtn. View room was stylish and clean and we loved it. We dined at Nobu in the hotel (yummy but expensive!) and threw back a few beers at the Yard House, just 1 minute away. We also ate a fresh-cooked breakfast in our hotel each morning and it was delish! We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyable Location

We stayed there for five nights at the end of August and we were certainly pleased with the hotel. The thing we most enjoyed was the location. Right across the street is Waikiki Beach and there are all kinds of things to do within walking distance. The staff was curtious and made the stay more enjoyable. The pool on the eighth floor was nothing special, but we figured that being so close to the ocean-who needs a pool? The fitness room was also pretty small, but good enough to get a decent workout in. The room we stayed in was very nice for the price and clean. If we go back to Waikiki, we will probably stay somewhere else only because there are so many options to check out.

Better than expected

Stayed at hotel without knowing anything about it, and was pleasantly surprised. Clean, comfortable, great location for walking around Waikiki, and very close to the beach. It's right across the street with great swimming. The hotel staff was the best though, any question they had a answer for, and great recommendations of places to go, with maps included. If they didn't have a map, they would draw one for you. Able to make plans and reservations through hotel, and got picked up for everything right out front. Upgrade to the ocean view room, it's well worth it, and ask for a high room. We were on the 14th floor, and were very happy. All in all, would stay again, without a doubt.

Two weeks were nice

We stayed in the Parc room. The view is not so great because these rooms face inland. But, they are accordingly less expensive. This hotel is on the other side of the street from the beach, so you have to walk along the public beach access sidewalk between hotels to get to the beach. Again, you're saving money accordingly. All things considered, this hotel offers a great value for Waikiki.
